When I returned to Amsterdam to staff the Wrap-Up Conference, the Rijksmuseum was partly under construction so visitors were let in through a back garden. I waited in line between a group of nuns and a group of bikers (not cyclists), all of us debating whether one could make a full meal out of stroopwafels. (You can.) |
